
PLEASE RE-ELECT RICHARD POPE, one of your Bixley Councillors
Richard is a teacher at a local high school, working with children with special educational needs and disabilities. He has been your Councillor in Bixley for a number of years.
He has recently been appointed by the Council as a Tree Champion, with the aim of making Ipswich a greener and more biodiverse place.
Richard says: “My primary role is to help you the residents of Bixley ward. Recently I have helped residents with parking issues; sorted out fly tipping; advised residents on planning issues; arranged to have trees trimmed, sorted out pavements issues, and had potholes fixed. I look forward to being able to continue helping you.”
Richard’s priorities for Bixley
- Tackling speeding in the area.
- Increasing biodiversity to make the area look
- Better and make people feel better.
