PLEASE VOTE FOR ROLAND MORTIMER TO JOIN STEVE FLOOD AS YOUR 2ND CONSERVATIVE BOROUGH COUNCILLOR
Roland was raised in Suffolk and moved to live in Ipswich with his partner a year ago.
He is determined to create safer streets for the local community by working with the police and Neighbourhood Partnership Groups to tackle drug dealing and anti-social behaviour. He also wants to see more local facilities in Sprites to support young people with their mental health and help them develop skills for the job market. Roland will work to provide opportunities for youngsters who might otherwise be tempted to a life of crime.
Roland promises to try and improve the quality of the roads in Sprites. He will work with Suffolk Highways, and your county councillors Nathan Wilson and Nadia Cenci, to implement speed calming measures and road repairs.
Finally, Roland is passionate about championing local businesses and talented entrepreneurs across Ipswich. If elected to the council, Roland will use his voice to support the revival of local shops, businesses and services both in the town centre and in Sprites. Roland says “Sprites is a unique and vibrant area of Ipswich with a diverse community and proud identity. If elected as your councillor, I will strive to improve the quality of life for all residents and champion your local issues.”
