I was born in Ipswich and raised just outside the town in the village of Tattingstone on the Shotley Peninsula. I moved back to Ipswich in 2014 with my wife Magdalena. We have a son, Jack, born in October 2017.
I have been a County Councillor since May 2017. I am proud to represent the people of St Margaret’s and Westgate Division in Ipswich.
I decided to run for County Council because I am passionate about making sure our children leave school fully qualified and able to handle all the challenges life brings us. We also face many other challenges in our country as well as the county of Suffolk, including financial constraints and the rising demand in adult social care and children’s services.
My interest in education led to me being appointed Deputy Cabinet Member for Education in May 2018.
Outside of my role as a Councillor, I am the Managing Director of Remus Rewards, a division of People Value Limited that supplies employee benefits to the temporary labour market throughout the UK.
