Bulb Planting in Queensway Park

Nacton Make a Change and the Nacton Community Garden arranged a big bulb plant on Queensway Park to turn the park into a spring delight of colour. Priory Heath Candidate Sam Murray attended both days with her children and got her hands dirty planting the bulbs with her fellow Priory Heath Residents. Cllr Stephen Ion also joined in on the fun Saturday.

Youth unemployment has halved since 2010; real wages for workers have grown for the seventh consecutive month; overall unemployment is at its lowest since 1975.

Ipswich Women Celebrate 100 Years of Voting

The Ipswich Women’s Festival occurred last Saturday at the University building at the Waterfront. This celebrated 100 years of women getting the vote. Holywells Councillor Liz Harsant was one of the speakers during the morning. 

Conservative Party Conference 2018

A number of Ipswich Conservative councillors, Association members and Tom Hunt attended the Party Conference in Birmingham this week.

It was a good opportunity to catch up will colleagues from across the region and country and focus on how the Conservative Party is transforming the country for the better, in contrast to when Jeremy Corbyn's party crashed the economy 10 years ago.
