The Prime Minister Signs the Withdrawal Agreement

The Prime Minister has signed the EU Withdrawal Agreement. He says "Today I have signed the Withdrawal Agreement for the UK to leave the EU on January 31st, honouring the democratic mandate of the British people. This signature heralds a new chapter in our nation’s history."

Solution needed for Orwell Bridge problems

Tom held positive discussions with representatives from Highways England about solutions to closures to the Orwell Bridge. Their confidential report will be published at the end of this month.

Ipswich Labour Won't Celebrate Brexit

At Wednesday's meeting of the full Ipswich Borough Council, the Labour Executive which runs the council, rejected the opportunity for Ipswich to have a celebration of Brexit on 31st January nor replace the EU flag by the Flag of Suffolk.
