New bin installed

Residents in the Woodbridge Road area near the Kindergarten on the corner of Jupiter Road, contacted Bixley Councillor Eddy Phillips, to advise that a lot of dog waste was being dumped in bags alongside the hedges, putting children's health at risk.

Transparency at Ipswich Borough Council

Ipswich Borough Council currently operates and owns four companies which are run as private businesses. Currently these companies have outstanding loans to IBC of over £60 million. To put this number into context it is 3 times as much as the Annual Net Budget of the entire Council.

Supporting the Samaritans

Anglesea Road 20MPH Zone

Chris Chambers, Conservative Councillor for St Margaret's-Westgate has confirmed to residents of Anglesea Road and the surrounding roads that  the proposed 20 MPH Zone has been signed off by the Suffolk Highways department.

Ashdown Way Re-Surfaced - As Pledged

During his election campaign, Bixley Cllr Eddy Phillips, pledged that Ashdown Way would be re-surfaced as part of the overall Felixstowe Road improvement scheme, and now it has been finished.

Bangladeshi Pita Festival

Ian Fisher, Liz Harsant and David Goldsmith attended the Suffolk Pita Festival. It was organised by the Bangladeshi Support Centre and was hosted at the Suffolk New College.
