Kym has proudly represented Bixley on the Ipswich Borough Council since May ’11.  As well as looking out for the needs of his constituents, he is on a number of committees and working groups. They include the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, Human Resources Committee, Development Working Group, Town Centre Working Group and the Ipswich Central Management Board.  He is also the Shadow Portfolio Holder for Planning and Development.

Kym has spent a lot of time this year attending induction training events to help bring him up to speed with the responsibilities and requirements of being a Top Tory Councillor.

His interests include cricket, watching old films, staying fit, eating out, travel and politics. He is keeping a diary of his experiences in the political arena which you can follow on this site or in the Evening Star.
