BBC Radio 4 reported on the evening news show (29th April) that the Labour government has clocked up a national debt equivalent to £95,000 per household -- yes £95,000 per household.
It is more than most people have borrowed for their mortgages, and most of us would be terrified at the prospect of accruing such a debt. But it is ours, courtesy of thirteen years of Labour, and we are going to suffer the consequences of their profligacy.
It must never be allowed to happen again.
