The Ipswich Conservative Association has a proud history of service to the town, its people and the Conservative Party. We are responsible for promoting the Conservative cause in Ipswich and Suffolk and we fight elections at every level – from General Election through to local Council. We have a young, active group of members who take part in a wide variety of events, both political and social.

Ben Gummer, Conservative Parliamentary Spokesman for Ipswich
Ben who has lived in Suffolk all his life, says: "Ipswich is on the up but like a lot of people I am also aware of its problems. Roads and trains can’t cope with planned growth. Ipswich hospital is over-burdened. Children are being denied the education they deserve. Anti-social behaviour is on the rise. I am passionate about confronting these challenges and have the drive to make sure something is done.
"I also know that Ipswich people want a strong local advocate and a robust voice in Westminster to make their concerns heard. I would be privileged to serve in that role".
